On 5 September, we participated in the anniversary edition of a charity relay, Poland Business Run 2021 – the biggest business run in Poland, which is joined by Polish and foreign companies.
In total, 28 500 people participated in this year’s event. Thanks to the collected funds, which amounted to more than PLN 2.2 million, the organizers can help more than 100 people from different parts of Poland. The charity support includes, among others, financing of 32 limb prostheses, 30 wheelchairs or other mobility aids as well as 44 rehabilitation programs.
Our two teams, each including five members, ran a distance of 20 kilometers to express their support to amputees and those suffering from locomotor disabilities. “Participation in the relay is a great initiative. I’m happy we could be a part of this event and contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of those who often need significant amounts of money to function normally. For us, participants, it is also a lot of fun and a great way to spend time outside. We do something good for others and, at the same time, for our own health”, says Wojciech Romański, a member of one of the JohnnyBros teams.
