The 14th Ball with a Heart - let's renovate the Dutkiewicz Hospice together

Ball with Heart

The 14th edition of the charity Ball with Heart has become history. The JohnnyBros Foundation was once again the Diamond Sponsor of the event, which has been uniting enthusiasts of helping and having fun for years. The money raised during the event will be used to renovate the building of the Dutkiewicz Hospice in Gdansk.

This year's edition of the already iconic event in the Tri-City was held under the slogan "The heart connects us" and was maintained in the atmosphere of Polish culture. Therefore, there could be no shortage of a polonaise danced together, Polish hits sung by Przemek Radziszewski and delicacies with duck and pierogi in the leading roles reigning on plates. Over 200 guests celebrating charity on the 34th floor of the Olivia Star office building indulged in not only a culinary, but also a dance feast, which was taken care of by the irreplaceable Vogue Band.

The breathtaking entourage of the entire event is due to the wonderful, many months of work of the Hospice Foundation team, which this time collected funds for the renovation of the building of the Father Dutkiewicz Hospice in Gdańsk.

- "In accordance with its mission, the JohnnyBros Foundation actively helps those in need, regardless of where this help is needed, but we have always tried to emphasize supporting the local community. Last year, during the Ball with Heart we collected money for the Respite Care Center, of which we were the main donors, this time the hospice needed a grant. We are always happy to help our friends from the Hospice Foundation, which is why we are very happy with every zloty donated for this purpose," says the president of the JohnnyBros Foundation, Julian Pawlukiewicz.

And speaking of fundraising, the point of the ball that the guests were most excited about were the auctions: silent (in the "Sopot" hall) and loud, held on the main stage. In both cases, our foundation was very active, which resulted in three auction wins. The numerous group of sports memorabilia was joined by a jersey signed by the world champion in football Lukas Podolski, which we auctioned for PLN 30,000! During the silent auction, we managed to win two matches, both with exceptional people: Henryka Krzywonos and Lech Wałęsa. In total, over a quarter of a million PLN was raised from all the auctions!

- "I would like to thank everyone who decided to support our hospice by attending today's ball. Thanks to you, we can continue the mission we started 23 years ago with even greater determination," said Agnieszka Paczkowska, vice-president of the board of the Hospice Foundation, from the stage.

We encourage anyone who wants to support the renovation of the hospice to donate directly to the Hospice Foundation's account: 60 1540 1098 2001 5562 3339 0002.
